A bit about me

Passionate about evidence based medicine, I care about working to facilitate access to the best possible innovative health technologies for patients I have encountered in my practice as a pharmacist – they deserve it. I am dedicated to make EU HTA a success and to eventually accelerate patient access in all of Europe.  

Career highlights

Sebastian joined the Kintiga team in February 2022, bringing valuable in-field experience as a researching and practicing pharmacist.  
 
As a Senior Medical Writer, he has led and contributed to various Market Access and Reimbursement projects, both strategically and operationally on a Global and local level in Germany. His work has provided him with extensive experience in the fields of cell and gene therapies, as well as orphan drugs, particularly in areas such as hematology, hemato-oncology, metabolic, and neurodegenerative diseases. 

As a member of the Kintiga EU HTA core team, Sebastian has played a significant role in shaping legislative and guidance documents through public consultation processes. He is currently involved in preparatory and strategic projects concerning Joint Clinical Assessments (JCAs) and Joint Scientific Consultations (JSCs), leveraging his in-depth knowledge of EU HTA methods and processes.

Personal interests

Sebastian enjoys staying active in his free time, whether it’s playing basketball, practicing yoga, or spending time outdoors by the sea or hiking in scenic locations. To keep his creative spirit alive, he delights in listening to and creating music, as well as immersing himself in a good crime novel.
