A bit about me
“Many people know what they do, but very few truly understand why they do it” is my core mantra. I am passionate about my job because it allows me to help patients and create opportunities for those in need to access life-changing therapies.
Career highlights
Monica studied Chemistry in Italy and spent some time living and studying in Austria. After graduating, she moved to Belgium to pursue a PhD in Chemistry. During her doctoral studies, she had the opportunity to live and work in Japan. Her multidisciplinary PhD research built a strong foundation across life sciences, physics, and nanotechnology, while sharpening her ability to learn new topics. Combined with Monica’s interest in communication, psychology, languages, and cultures, this journey strengthened her skills in collaboration and networking.
In May 2021, Monica joined AxTalis, which has since become Kintiga. In the early stages of the company, she contributed not only to Medical and Market Access projects, but also supported digital marketing efforts as a content creator and website designer. From the start of her journey with AxTalis/Kintiga, she has worked closely with various stakeholders and clients, strengthening existing relationships and building new ones. As time progresses, she keeps offering my contribution to the Medical Affairs and Market Access realms, through a continuous learning and strong passion.

Art plays a big role in Monica’s life—especially music and photography. She’s passionate about dancing Lindy Hop, an Afro-American swing dance that originated in Harlem in the 1930s. She loves experimenting with her analog camera and creating her own visual art. Monica is also deeply interested in languages, cultures, and history—most of which she explores through travel. She always chooses her travel destinations based on cultural or historical aspects she wants to dive deeper into.
