Career highlights
After obtaining her title as a pharmacist, Marlies earned her PhD by studying the immunological aspects of varicella-zoster virus infection and its reactivation causing shingles. Her passion for science has enriched her work at Kintiga, where she focuses on a diverse range of projects in oncology, immunology, and rare diseases. Marlies joined Kintiga in 2022 and successfully completed the Health Economics course at EHSAL Management School, which provided her with a robust theoretical framework on health policy and economics in Belgium, readily translatable to her daily work. Her main focus has been the development of Pricing & Reimbursement dossiers for the Belgian, Luxembourg and Dutch markets, as well as Market Access strategy and risk assessment.
