A bit about me
I am a qualified solicitor, mum of two, South African–born doctor in law and I am passionate about helping those who are underprivileged, marginalised or vulnerable. I wish to use my expertise to bring about genuine change for these cohorts to ensure a more diverse, fair society.
Career highlights
Liz qualified as a solicitor in South Africa (2008) and the UK (2009) and gained extensive legal experience in the pharmaceutical industry thereafter. During the last six years, she conducted legal research in the fields of employment law, gender and organisation studies focussing specifically on the role flexible working can play in advancing professional female career progression; she completed her PhD in July 2021.

Personal interests
Liz lives in the countryside with my husband and two children (aged 8 &10) and she enjoys country walks, good food and spending time with friends. Liz is a keen baker and an avid follower of all things Great British Bake Off!
