Daniel Brand

A bit about me

Identifying the most important features of a medicine for patients to emphasise the value of each product is what drives me in my work, as well as creating a constructive and productive working environment to make projects a success for all.

Career highlights

Daniel joined the Kintiga team in July 2020 after finishing his PhD on molecular medicine at Hanover Medical School with a focus on leukemia and stem cell biology. At Kintiga, Daniel started as a medical writer with the focus on German HTA strategy development and dossier compilation. His initial experiences had a focus on rare diseases, with both orphan and non-orphan medicinal products. He expanded his skills into reimbursement strategies and led his first project teams to success, which led to progression into a senior position. Daniel has worked in various medicinal areas, such as ophthalmology, immunology and oncology.

Daniel is keen to promote the exchange of knowledge from different projects and to encourage collaboration of medical writing teams. As he is also motivated to increase both efficiency and fun at work, he guides the in-house development of technology enabled solutions for the daily work, to set free time from labor intense but repetitive work steps. The resulting technologies have a benefit for both colleages and clients. He is eager to drive the exchange of knowledge between different project teams and thus set up a regular medical writer team meeting to promote growing together.

Daniel participated in congresses, such as ISPOR and ATE, where he presented Kintiga both at the booth as well as at the poster sessions. He values direct contact with his clients, for which he prefers travelling by train whenever possible.
