Ben Hendry

A bit about me

Prior to joining Kintiga,  the majority of my career has been in the NHS at NICE and I made sure my next career move was to an organisation that is aligned with my personal values, which is to contribute as much as possible to ensure equal and timely access to the most innovative medicines and technologies for all.

Career highlights

Ben’s remit covers UK & Ireland as Business Development Director for Kintiga, and works closely with his colleagues in Business Development and Consulting not only in UK & Ireland but also across Europe and the US to ensure Kintiga can offer clients full multi-region support where appropriate.

Prior to joining the Business Development team in November 2024, Ben held various roles in the Market Access & Pricing Strategy team at MAP Patient Access (UK & Ireland) with the most recent role being Head of Market Access & Pricing Strategy. Ben originally joined MAP Patient Access in June 2021 and successfully led a wide a range of projects that included positive NICE Technology Appraisal and SMC recommendations, MHRA Promising Innovative Medicine applications, NICE Office for Market Access (OMA) engagements and many others.

Ben worked for 14 years at NICE (2007-2021) prior to joining MAP Patient Access, originally starting as an E-media Officer working on the NICE website. He then moved to the Centre for Health Technology Evaluation Directorate as the Topic Selection Project Manager, managing the selection process for technology appraisals and highly specialised technologies. Ben then joined NICE’s OMA as the OMA Outreach and Engagement Manager and played a significant role in creating and strengthening relationships with the life sciences industry and health system partners. He was highly influential in developing and establishing the engagement services of OMA (now part of NICE Advice) for industry.
