I enjoy enabling patient access to new, innovative therapies which is a key part of patient care and translational medicine pathway development.
Career Highlights
Ben has a PhD in molecular biology at Newcastle University (UK) which looked at fibrosis mechanisms in different organs. Following this he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the autoimmunity field before transitioning to market access and pharmaceutical consultancy. Over the next 2 ½ years, Ben immersed himself in the market access field and collaborated with clients to fulfil their project needs. He has experience in different deliverables such as project proposals, TLRs, HTA reviews and submissions, RWE database reviews, patient-reported outcomes validation and SLRs as well as payer-driven research through bespoke surveys covering different global markets.
Expertise
- Generation of detailed HTA reviews of drugs and devices in different markets including EU5 and US. Development of knowledge of HTA submissions to NICE and ICER bodies across oncology and immunology disease areas.
- Analysis of payer-driven research through development and testing of value messages in different markets and pricing/reimbursement scenarios.
- Quality control of deliverables and communication with the project team to enable high-quality deliverables and to meet client expectations.

Walking my two rescue greyhounds, family time and films.
