Lydia Frick

A bit about me

I love to shape strategies that ensure innovative therapies reach patients faster, while helping pharmaceutical and biotech companies navigating through complex regulatory landscapes with purpose and impact.

Career Highlights

As a Director Market Access with significant experience in the field of market access and HTA leadership, Lydia serves as a product owner and strategic advisor to tailor solutions for our clients in the pharmaceutical industry across a wide range of therapeutic areas in the orphan and non-orphan space.

Lydia joined the Kintiga team in May 2018 as a medical writer focusing on the strategy development and compilation of German HTA dossiers. Since then, Lydia has taken various roles in strategic projects with our clients from the pharmaceutical industry, including early advice with the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) in Germany and Joint Scientific Consultation (JSC) in the context of EU HTA, full market access strategy, numerous HTA submissions, leading and actively participating in the G-BA’s written statement and hearing procedure, internal and external stakeholder management as well as strategic preparation, support and participation in price negotiations.

Representing Kintiga in various working groups and committees of influential associations of the pharmaceutical industry, including the Federal Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry (Bundesverband der Pharmazeutischen Industrie, BPI e.V.), Pharma Deutschland, EUCOPE and EuropaBio, Lydia shapes the German and European market access and policy landscape through expertise and thought leadership.

Given her strong interest in cutting-edge technology, Lydia is leading Kintiga’s initiative to develop high-tech tools using artificial intelligence and automation to enrich our consulting services by letting robots do the boring work and using human smartness for handling the complex strategic challenges our clients are facing. A highlight of Lydia’s leading role is the development of our inhouse developed Endpoint Result Interpreter (EPRI) tool that uses large language models to describe clinical data presented in any tabular and file format and is offered as a managed interpretive writing service to clients requiring operative support to master their HTA submissions timely with 100% accuracy.
