I am passionate about contributing to ensure equal and timely access for patients to treatments and technologies that enhance and extend patients’ lives.
Career highlights
Thomas joined the Kintiga BeNeLux team in December 2025. Before he was part of the AxTalis team as an intern during his final year of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Master’s program in Drug Development at the KU Leuven, which has sparked his interest in market access. His Master’s thesis on market access of oncolytics in the Benelux Nordics paved the way for a further deep-dive into market access of ATMPs during his PhD at KU Leuven – Vlerick Business School.
Resulting in a fundamental understanding of patient preferences, regulation, RWE, and payment models. During his academic career, Thomas was closely involved with the European Access Academy, a stakeholder-focused group aiming at the successful implementation of the EU HTAR.
With this background, Thomas brings a strong academic foundation and a focus on market access and healthcare policy. Eager to contribute to the strategic alignment of drug development and market access in this dynamic European environment, Thomas is ready to make a meaningful impact.
