I’m passionate about improving patient access to vital and life changing therapeutics.
Career highlights
Jessie has recently completed her PhD in Biological Sciences at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (University of Cambridge). Here, she developed a new technique to identify intracellular protein interactions and investigated vesicle trafficking; an intracellular process which is key to an array of human disorders and infections. She published two peer-reviewed papers in high impact scientific journals and presented her work to international audiences in several formats. Prior to this, Jessie studied at Utrecht University (The Netherlands) where she investigated cancer cell migration and metastasis.

Personal interests
Jessie is an avid reader and loves a good audiobook while on a walk. Recently, she has discovered the powers of DIY while doing up her flat and enjoys doing little projects around the house. She also loves playing guitar and writing songs, and recently picked up knitting, which she says isn’t as humdrum as it sounds!
