I truly enjoy working as a consultant and partner to help people and companies expand their reach to as many patients as possible across Europe.
Career highlights
Florian did his PhD in the Hanover Biomedical Research School, focused on drug target discovery on necrotic effects of bacterial toxins on human cells via phosphoproteomics and big data analysis. After one year as a postdoc in the field of transfusion medicine, he joined the Kintiga team in February 2023 and is experienced in market access strategy and pricing across a range of therapeutic areas, in particular focusing on challenging situations such as ATMPs, orphan drugs, repurposed drugs and highly competitive indications.
Florian has actively been involved in the EU HTA team and contributes valuable insights about the political process behind it, leverging his 14 years of experience in local and European politics. During his career he focused on German HTA and pricing strategy, and contributed to and submitted German AMNOG dossiers.

Personal interests
In his freetime Florian enjoys a variety hobbies ranging from politics to running and bouldering. He is a humorous, reliable person and is always interested in learing new things as for example he recently started horse back riding and is very enthusiastic about it. He enjoys traveling with his friends and broadening his horizons on long distance hikes.
