A bit about me
My academic background in Pharmacy and Public Health engrained in me patient-centred values that I strive to embed in all aspects of my work. I am motivated to improving timely access to innovative health technologies to people who need them the most. A key to this is proactive collaboration and early engagement between relevant regulatory, HTA and life science industry stakeholders and this is one aspect of my career that I am very passionate about.
Career Highlights
Dapo joined the team in November 2022 and brings with him the experience of being part of the senior leadership team delivering a national horizon scanning programme of work for key HTA, policy and clinical stakeholders in England. Dapo specifically led the medicines workstream that utilised advanced horizon-scanning tools, evidence synthesis methodologies and early engagement activities to identify and track the clinical development and regulatory pathways of innovative pipeline medicines. Dapo has led major national horizon scanning projects in topic areas like Histology-Independent Therapies (HITs) for cancer (i.e. tumour-agnostic therapies), Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs), COVID-19 therapeutics, Repurposed Medicines and Immuno-Oncology Products. Dapo has a strong academic/research background with significant experience in mixed-methods research, qualitative methods (interviewing and focus groups), evidence synthesis and systematic literature reviewing.
