A bit about me

I am driven by the desire to improve patient care through my daily work by supporting the market access process for new and innovative medicines in Germany.

Career highlights

Laura studied biology and biomedical sciences and obtained a PhD in Animal and Zoonotic Infections with a focus on virology at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover. During her PhD she established a novel serological diagnostic tool for the identification of flaviviruses and gained experience in working under high biosafety standards. She has also completed several internships in a big pharma company.

In her role as medical writer, she coordinated various full market access projects which included preparation of G-BA advice meetings, development of AMNOG dossier strategy and the compilation of AMNOG dossiers. Thereby she gained knowledge in diverse therapeutic areas including female health, oncology and chronic back pain.

Exploring foreign countries and cities is also high on her list, within the limits of what is possible with a toddler.
