A bit about me

I am passionate about using health economic evidence to improve patient access to crucial medications, ensuring that healthcare decision-making is informed by robust data and real-world impact. 

Career Highlights

Aoife joined the Kintiga team in June 2022 after earning her Master in Health Economics from the University of Galway. She specialises in health economic modelling, market access strategies, and HTA with experience across oncology, rare diseases and metabolic disorders. 

She has contributed to HTA submissions for NICE, NCPE, SMC, and INAMI/RIZIV, developing Budget Impact Models (BIMs) and Cost-Effectiveness Models (CEMs) to support payer engagement and reimbursement strategies. Aoife is also experienced in evidence synthesis and technical writing for health economic evaluations. 

Passionate about improving patient access, she collaborates with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to validate research insights and inform market access strategies. In addition to project work, she supports business development and has supported in proposal development and led internal training on modelling techniques.

Personal interests

Aoife loves filling her time with family, friends, and new experiences. Whether she’s catching up over a walk and coffee, cooking for loved ones, or enjoying live Irish traditional music, she’salways keeping busy. A passionate traveller, she’s eager to explore as many countries as possible. When she is relaxing, you’ll typically find her with a cup of tea in hand, tackling a crossword puzzle.
